Meeting Judy! ...and the Citadel Hill, Halifax.

Another sunny day here in Halifax!  We are getting used to the 3 hours difference in time although it still takes a bit to get mobile in the morning. :)
Cousin, Judy came to play with us today!  We climbed to the top of Citadel Hill, used our park pass to get in as a family and had a lot of fun "capturing" each other and the uniformed and costumed personnel.  No matter how hard we tried we couldn't get the guards to smile, but that didn't stop us from trying.  Apparently they have heard everything!  ha! They were all very photogenic, polite and professional!
After Judy needed to head back for another engagement we carried on discovering a bit more of the city on our own, hunting down a few caches and actually finding one.
Less words more pics:

Our tour guide.
He is "the right height"
After the workers dawned their hearing protection I retreated from this position to cover mine for the firing of the noon canon!  BOOM!! And the ground shook.
He would have nothing to do with this silly pair!!
I'm sure he wanted to check out the Man in the Hat but maintained "eyes forward" :)
Up and Down and Down and Up... getting a lot of walking in!

I'm going to miss the nice uniforms opening doors for me and posing when asked and posing when not asked, however we are moving on tomorrow.  Let's see if I can maintain a process of downloading, uploading and typing.  But if all else fails this is a pretty good effort at blogging (for me) right? ;)
