Left Charlottetown this morning and with a bit of time to spare before our ferry back to Nova Scotia, we went in search of two more lighthouses! We got just about every one on PEI except for the far west side, so we will have to come back!
There was a thunderstorm last night and it rained again but the sun broke through and there were times when there were no clouds in the sky today. A good day to be born! A few years ago.
Lots of miles made today with those extra's hunting down the houses and another diversion over here in NS to Cape George to grab a lighthouse cache. Obsessive behaviour?? Or a way of seeing backroads? Maybe some of both!
Now we are here in Baddeck, in Cape Breton! Safe and sound fed up with birthday fish n chips! Feels kind of weird to think about the three hours time difference between here and home. :) You guys are eating supper and we are going to bed. We are getting up anywhere between 6 and 7 and you are still sound asleep!!
