June 8 Fredericton to Saint John Via the Backroads.

Weather here is a trickster! Thunder, lightening, downpours unlike anything we have ever seen and 20 minutes later: sunshine!  We have witnessed some amazing cloud formations!
We drove along the Saint John River yesterday seeing some beautiful rolling countryside, along quiet backroads with barely any traffic.  Green green green, a few old farms and two and three story old old homes, like what we had imagined.  If you can't imagine, think of the Shuswap area, where Granny lived; it is very similar here.  Maybe that is why they chose the Okanagan!
Anyway all is well!  Here are a few images....

Our first Bobolink sighting!  We were looking for Eastern Bluebirds and found this instead! :)
Along a quiet backroad halfway between towns!
Through the windshield! Narrow windy hilly bare roads, someone is wishing he had his motorbike!
Sitting in the Bay of Fundy, watching the tide go out!  Irving Nature Park a massive park in Saint John.
Playing with the waves and the coloured rocks!  Mmmm would love to bring a load home! :)
Song Sparrow!
Reversing Falls Saint John water going upstream! Early afternoon.

Reversing Falls going downstream a few hours later!
